Ruzami Mat Rani graduated with a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Edinburgh College of Art (ECA), Heriot-Watt University and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Univeresiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His interest in sketching, drawing, and painting started in primary and secondary school, continuing to higher education levels. His artworks have been exhibited in Bakat Muda Sezaman and PNB Art Exhibition. Ezihaslinda Ngah is attached with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) as an educator for the subjects of English Language and English for Science and Technology. Throughout her number of years in the Education Line, she has had the opportunities to serve various MARA colleges. These include MARA Junior Science College (MJSC) Muar, Mersing and currently, Kuantan. She received her early education at Sekolah Rendah Tengku Bariah Kuala Terengganu. She then persued her lower secondary education at Sekolah Menengah (A) Sheikh Abdul Malek and MARA JuniorScience College Kuala Terengganu. Great learning resource

This is one of a series of books designed to take one from intermediate skills to advanced skills; as such, it does not cover the basics in detail, but provides many, many examples to copy and thereby advance. I'm really enjoying mine, and I'm looking forward to new books in the series.

I was not impressed with this book. It thought it would be full of great technology on how he draw rooms and building in perspective like he does on YouTube. It is long on talk and few examples and a lot of shapes. I would not recommend for beginners.

Dr. Teresa Chahine is the Social Entrepreneurship Program Leader at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, Center for Health and the Global Environment. Gilgamesh not for scholars

Not a horrible translation, but too many liberties were taken with the original text. In other translations it is made clear what is original and what is supposition on the part of the translator. This is more of a novel based on the Gilgamesh tablets than it is a translation that can be used for study purposes. That stated, it's not awful. I found the narrative engaging.

The search for immortality.

This is an interesting new translation of an ancient epic from Mesopotamia that many of us know from Kramer's earlier, near-literal transcription of the fragmentary cuneiform tablets available at the time of Kramer's investigations into Near Eastern religious texts. (I believe Kramer was the first to note the parallels between this ancient poem and the Old Testament story of The Great Flood, recorded probably after the Hebraic Captivity in Babylon - i.e., during the Diaspora ). At any rate, Gerald Davis has set himself the task of being worthy of "Gilgamesh"; the reader will, of course, judge for himself if he has succeeded. I believe he has and would recommend this book as a worthy addition to any college-level syllabus on ancient and medieval epics, especially those - like Beowulf - in which warrior friendship such as that between Gilgamesh and Enkidu plays a role.

Fun, entertaining read.

I found it to be a fun read. I am not sure of the accuracy of translation, and not sure how it compares to other translations as I have not read any others. The author stated in the preface that he took some liberties and filled in the missing gaps and stated that he did not notate these liberties. I wish that the liberties were notated so a reader unfamiliar with the story would be able to identify what was what.

Too much detail

While this book is probably the most comprehensive immunology textbook in the field, it is overwhelmed with detail--so much so that the "big picture" becomes obscure. Whenever a pathway is presented, the authors list the names of nearly all the intermediate proteins/enzymes involved, even if their functions are of little relevance OR are currently unknown. For many students, these details are irrelevant and end up confusing them more than enriching their understanding of the material; if, for some reason, a particular reader seeks additional detail on a particular topic, they can easily obtain the details by reading the references that are cited at the end of the chapter. Additionally, the review questions at the end of each chapter are very simplistic (although this is not a huge factor in my evaluation).

"REAL, HEARTFELT, HONEST"

I spent quite a bit of time pondering what I wanted to say about Ryan's book, and the impact it had on me. That's mainly because there are so many things I found helpful and inspiring. It was hard to narrow it down to one specific thing, or even just one generalization. It's true that the book offers lots of insight into the world of entrepreneurship, gives lots of practical advice about running a business, and teaches some important life lessons. The thing that kept coming to mind though, as I read through it, was how his words could stir emotion. I kept thinking how true to life Ryan's story is, and how he just laid it all out for the world to see. This is not an easy thing to do. It takes a huge amount of courage and fearlessness to bare your soul to anyone, much less the world. At times I giggled, sometimes I found myself deep in thought, my mind racing as something sparked my imagination. And sometimes, the tears welled up in my eyes, then fell to the page making a wet spot on the paper. Ryan shares his trials and triumphs with complete candor. To me a true leader is one who can inspire people, rouse their emotions, and stir them to action. Ryan certainly does that in life and in this book. I also love the new forward by Nick Sarnicola and the new chapter "Told You So," at the end. Both give added insight into the man that is Ryan Blair. Definitely a must read!
